Graduating High School Seniors -- 2023 Scholarship Season is now open! The Community Foundation of Carroll County supports more than 55 academic, sports, special circumstances, and 4-H scholarships. The common application is an easy way for students to APPLY ONCE and see all the scholarship opportunities they are eligible for (deadline April 15, 2023). 4-H Club Participants – Use the 4-H/FFA Scholarships common application for additional opportunities just for you (deadline July 1, 2023).

The purpose of this Fund is to honor the memory of DR. ROBERT T. SCOTT by providing a scholarship to a graduating senior or continuing student from any Carroll County, MD high school pursuing an undergraduate degree in health sciences at an accredited college or university who meets the criteria established for the fund. FUND SELECTION CRITERIA:A. FUNDS will be awarded to an applicant who meets the following criteria: 1. The student will be a member of any Carroll County, Maryland High School graduation class or a continuing student from that high school. 2. The student will have been accepted at an accredited college or university. 3. The student will have maintained a GPA of 3.0 for his high school career and have college worthy SAT scores or be in good standing at his or her current school. 4. The student will have a demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in health sciences. 5. If the scholarship is won by a continuing student, that student must be in academic good standing evidenced by an official transcript from his school.
