Graduating High School Seniors -- 2023 Scholarship Season is now open! The Community Foundation of Carroll County supports more than 55 academic, sports, special circumstances, and 4-H scholarships. The common application is an easy way for students to APPLY ONCE and see all the scholarship opportunities they are eligible for (deadline April 15, 2023). 4-H Club Participants – Use the 4-H/FFA Scholarships common application for additional opportunities just for you (deadline July 1, 2023).

The Westminster Pride Scholarship aims to provide some assistance to students of the LGBTQ+ community and student allies in furthering their education beyond high school. Top Prize: $2,000.00 Eligibility Requirements: • Must be a graduating senior from a Carroll County High School • Must be from Carroll County • Must have a weighted GPA of 2.5 or more • Must be accepted to and attending an accredited college in the fall • Must have at minimum completed the required amount of service-learning hours • Must NOT be related to anyone who is currently on the Westminster Pride Festival planning committee • Create a piece of art, writing, painting, song, or otherwise, that shows what pride means to you. Please be aware that in submitting a piece, you will likely be asked to display or perform it during Westminster Pride Festival. Briefly describe how your submission relates to the prompt • Must be willing to have their submission potentially used in promotional material and be on display for/at the upcoming Pride Festival | |
