Graduating High School Seniors -- 2023 Scholarship Season is now open! The Community Foundation of Carroll County supports more than 55 academic, sports, special circumstances, and 4-H scholarships. The common application is an easy way for students to APPLY ONCE and see all the scholarship opportunities they are eligible for (deadline April 15, 2023). 4-H Club Participants – Use the 4-H/FFA Scholarships common application for additional opportunities just for you (deadline July 1, 2023).

The purpose of this Fund is to provide scholarships toManchester Valley High School graduating seniors who have been accepted at an accredited institution of higher learning and are pursuing studies in the field of technology. The field includes, but is not limited to, engineering, electronics, graphic communication, printing, media, and woodworking. SCHOLARSHIP SELECTION CRITERIA: A. A scholarship will be awarded each year to student(s) who meets the following criteria: • The student shall be graduating senior of Manchester Valley High School • The student shall have been accepted at an accredited College, University or Technical School • The student shall be pursuing studies in the fields of teaching, family and consumer sciences, or technology; including but not limited to, engineering, electronics, graphic communication, printing, media or woodworking • The scholarship will be awarded based on financial need. • The Student should demonstrate exemplary character, leadership through service learning, contributions to school and the community-at-large. • Student shall submit a letter of recommendation from a Manchester Valley High School teacher. • Student shall submit an essay on why he/she wants to pursue their chosen career. |
